Russian House or the Friendly Societies Building is a wonderful old building in the heart of Fitzroy, Melbourne. We have the whole space to ourselves to frolic and be merry.
How long can the kids stay?
We'd love all the kids to be part of the ceremony and the early festivities until 8pm, when unfortunately they have to leave as this is a venue policy.

We suggest coordinating with each other to organise group babysitters - sing out if you need help!
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will be taking place at 3:30pm and we'll be ready to receive guests from 3pm, so you've got half an hour to dribble in, grab a glass of bubbles and get a spot.
What's happening with the food?
We'll be having paella, tapas and no allocated seating.
What if I have dietary requirements?
Please RSVP with your dietary requirements and we'll do our best to accommodate. We'll definitely cover all the common favs: celiac, lactose intolerant, vegetarian & vegan.
Will we be accepting gifts?
While your presence is the greatest gift, if you would like to give a gift, contributions towards our new couch or honeymoon fund are very welcome.
Where's the After Party?
We have to be out of Russian House by 11pm, so we're having an after party at the bar James & Amy first met, at High Paradise, 10mins walk away on Easey St in Collingwood.
What accommodation options are near by?
There are loads of accommodation options in Melbourne CBD, which is a 10min cab or tram ride away.
Or you can opt for AirBnB options in any of the surrounding close suburbs: Fitzroy, Collingwood, Carlton, Brunswick East.
